Responsible Gaming

The Milliora responsible betting policy is committed to minimizing the negative effects of problem gambling and to encouraging its customers to bet responsibly.

Milliora offers its online customers a wide range of games and entertainment. We also state that we take responsibility for our range of products.

Milliora's goal is to provide the safest and most innovative gaming platform in the world for adults. The products and services allow every user to play according to their own preferences and to receive the highest quality service. Honesty, fairness, and reliability are the guiding principles for Milliora. For this reason, it is clear that Milliora must do everything in its power to help customers who are especially wary of gambling. At the same time, it is important to respect the rights of those for whom games of chance reasonably form part of their lives and who see it as a form of entertainment.

Responsible Gaming at Milliora is based on three fundamental principles: player safety, game safety, and protection against problem gambling. Together with research institutes, associations, and therapy institutions, Milliora works on creating a responsible, safe, and reliable framework for online betting games.

Player Safety

Milliora is responsible for the safety of its players. It is important to protect players, prevent the participation of minors in games, and ensure the protection of privacy while personal data and payments are handled responsibly. The fairness of the products offered and the nature of random selections are closely monitored by independent organizations. Marketing strategies are created with player protection and fairness in mind.

Protection Against Gambling Addiction: Research – Prevention – Intervention

The majority of users who bet on sports betting, casino betting, and other games play for entertainment, without going to excess. Certain habits and behavior patterns that are considered normal and do not cause any concern (such as shopping, doing sports, eating, or consuming alcohol) can turn into an addiction for some people and cause problems. In the same way, betting can cause problems, even if only for a limited group of customers.

It is possible for customers showing signs related to problem gambling to be barred from using certain products and even from playing on the entire site. In addition, for customers showing signs of problem gambling, contact is provided with organizations from which they can receive professional advice and support.

Responsibility Towards Oneself Is the Most Sustainable Form of Prevention

The fundamental principle supported by Milliora is to create a safe and responsible online environment where its customers can enjoy a betting experience. While Milliora offers customers helpful tools to control their bets, the customer's own responsibility plays a major role in the use of the tools we offer and is the most effective form of protection in solving gambling problems. Milliora takes responsibility for helping customers by providing transparent products, betting control tools, and full information about places where customers experiencing problem gambling can find professional advice and support.

Protection of Minors

Milliora does not allow minors (anyone under 18 years of age, or under the minimum age for betting according to the rules of the place of residence) to participate in games and to bet. For this reason, it is mandatory to specify age and date of birth during registration. Milliora takes the issue of underage betting seriously. To ensure the best possible protection of minors, Milliora relies on the support of families and caregivers. Milliora advises its customers to keep their account access data (username and password) in a safe place and not to disclose this data to anyone else.

In addition, Milliora recommends that customers install filter software. This software will allow customers to restrict access to internet resources that are not suitable for children and young people.

Responsibility Towards Problems

Milliora offers a variety of games and bets that are a form of entertainment for the majority of customers. The company also supports the maintenance of a safe and enjoyable environment by providing various tools while taking the associated risks into account.

Customers who cannot assess the risks, have difficulty recognizing their own limits, or suffer from gambling addiction cannot enjoy our range of products with a sense of responsibility and cannot perceive it as a form of entertainment. Milliora takes responsibility for protecting such users by blocking their access to the products.

Be Aware of the Main Issues!

Most people play for enjoyment. Participation in games within their financial capacity is completely acceptable. However, for a small percentage of people who play, betting is not a form of entertainment but a problem that must be taken seriously.

What Is Responsible Gaming Behavior?

Responsible gaming behavior is considered to be a form of gaming that does not affect the lifestyle, employment status, financial situation, or health of a person or their family. Long-term participation in games is an indication of a problem on the part of that person, as it can lead to negative consequences.

Pathological gambling addiction was officially recognized and listed in 1980 in the list of psychological illnesses of the international classification systems DSM-IV and ICD-10. It is defined as a long, repeated, and often increasing tendency to play despite negative personal and social conditions such as debt, the breakdown of family relationships, and the postponement of professional advancement.

In Which Situations Should a Person's Behavior Be Considered an Addiction?

It should be emphasized that a diagnosis of gaming addiction can only be made by qualified experts. The material presented on this web page is intended to help you estimate and identify your own gaming behavior.

The danger of addictions not associated with any substance is that it is very difficult to define the line between pleasure and addiction. However, there are certain diagnostic signals that may indicate existing problems. In the presence of at least five of the following symptoms, the probability of a serious addiction is high:

  • The player bets deeply; their entire thought is only the game.

  • The bet amount increases over time.

  • Attempts to leave the games or exercise self-control appear to fail.

  • When betting limits are restricted, the person experiences anger and frustration.

  • The player sees betting as a means of escaping from problems or life difficulties.

  • The player tries to recover the amount lost.

  • They tell lies about their gambling behavior.

  • They engage in illegal actions.

  • Your relationship with your family and colleagues is lost or broken.

  • They borrow money to participate in bets.

Responsible Gaming Rules

By following the simple rules stated below, you can enjoy responsible betting.

  • Do not think of betting as a way to make money. Think of it as an entertainment expense.

  • Take regular breaks. Set a time limit and leave when the time is up. Most likely, the more time you spend betting, the higher your loss will be.

  • Only bet with money you can afford to lose; do not use money set aside for payments for betting.

  • Set a limit for yourself and stick to it; leave the game when the limit is up.

  • Do not raise a maximum limit you have set.

  • Never chase your losses. If you have set a limit and you are still trying to win back when your loss reaches the limit, you have not set a limit.

  • Do not play under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

  • Do not bet when you are depressed or sad; it can be harder to make decisions when you are stressed or upset.

Self-Exclusion, Time-Outs, and Reality Checks

Milliora offers Self-Exclusion, Time-Out, and Reality Check options to help customers manage their bets. Self-exclusion can be applied for periods ranging from six (6) months to five (5) years, according to the customer's request.

If the self-exclusion option is used, the customer will not be able to access their account until the self-exclusion period ends. The account cannot be reopened during the self-exclusion period. During the self-exclusion period, Milliora will do everything in its power to prevent this customer from opening a new account. During the self-exclusion period, Milliora will endeavor not to send any marketing and/or promotional material.

Self-excluded accounts can be reopened after the self-exclusion period ends by contacting the customer support unit, following a 24-hour "change of mind" period. If the self-excluded customer has any open bets, their winnings and account balance will be refunded.

Milliora customers can apply a "Reality Check" for periods of 10 minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours, 6 hours, and 8 hours. Customers can apply these limits through their own account settings or by contacting customer support.

If customers wish to permanently close their accounts due to problem gambling, they should contact customer support as soon as possible. Once this process is completed, customers cannot reopen their accounts under any circumstances.

Milliora customers can apply a "Time-Out" to their accounts for periods of 24 hours, one week, one month, or two months. Customers can apply these limits through their own account settings or by contacting customer support.
